Dolores

Dolores is a municipality in the Spanish province of Alicante in the Valencian Community with an area of 19 km².

Dolores is a metropolis in the province of Alicante in Spain. It is located in the comacra of Vega Baja del Segura to the south of the Alicante region. The exact location of the town is in the center of Segura Huerta or what is commonly referred to as vegetable garden. The city is easily accessible from the Autovia del Mediterráneo highway. There is also a new highway from Elche. The city is also accessible via Alicante International Airport. From there it only takes 20 minutes to reach the city. The nearest beaches to the town are La Marina and Guadramar. Dolores is considered one of the largest internal cities in the province of Alicante.
